Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OpenMatchday tournament management platform ("Service"), operated by POISE ("Company", "we", "us"), registered in Sweden.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for your account security and must notify us of unauthorized use. You must be 18+ or have parental consent.

2. License & Usage

The Free version is provided at no cost. The "Powered by POISE" branding must remain visible and unmodified. Commercial redistribution or resale is not permitted.

Paid licenses (Event, Pro) are domain-locked and non-transferable without written consent. Attempting to bypass license verification or remove branding violates these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; reverse engineer protected code; remove copyright notices or branding; redistribute or resell the Service; store harmful or illegal content; or attempt unauthorized access.

4. Content & Data

You retain ownership of content you upload. We process it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for your own backups.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. Event licenses are non-refundable once activated. Subscriptions may be cancelled anytime; no partial-month refunds. Prices are in EUR excluding VAT.

6. Intellectual Property

OpenMatchday and all associated code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of POISE. "OpenMatchday" is a trademark of POISE. Your license grants usage rights, not ownership.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. POISE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

You may terminate anytime. POISE may suspend access for Terms violations. Upon termination, your license is revoked.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved in Stockholm courts.
